Why did we do it?

Times are tough; no doubt about it!

No one should have to pay to list a job, nor should it cost you to apply. You need work, they need workers - when you connect it is a win-win. We want you to win.

This job board was established to help people and businesses in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties get back on their feet as quickly as possible. New York State makes it hard enough for us to afford to do businesses. Just when you think you can grow forward there is another hurdle - which may even be the expense of hiring someone! Drastic times call for drastic measures; like our investing in a job board to help you post the positions you want to hire, or apply for a job to put food on the table.

EMPLOYERS: when you post your positions give as much information as you can! You will find simple check boxes for full-time/part-time as well as a drop-down selection for the category of job. If you think we need another category please let us know! When someone applies for your position you get an email with their information and resume... right in your inbox, instantly!

EMPLOYEES-TO-BE: make sure your resume is up to date, if possible save it as a PDF file [you can get a free program to make PDFs in Windows here]. Check your email for responses, and DO NOT apply for a job more than once as you will annoy your future employer. However, you can apply for as many jobs as you want!
